Lovely location and wonderful pub outside the front door. Holiday enjoyed but a few changes to facilities would have mad

5.0

Location, pub literally meters away. pillows very comfy.

Oven unusable due to symbols worn away and instructions didnt state location only symbols which were missing. Outside street lamp so bright and shines in main bedroom window so that it wasn’t ever dark. Curtains too thin to black out light. Bed very soft and bumpy. Shower is mouldy and didnt drain well so filled the tray up prompting a very short shower so it didn’t flood bathroom. Stair gate didnt attach to bracket so couldn’t be closed and stairs start as soon as exiting bunk bed bedroom making no safeguard to unfamiliar house guests. Garden was open plan to the neighbours and their dogs with no dividing wall/fence.

Disappointed with the cottage not worth the money being charged needs major upgrade

3.0

The location was what we wanted - we have lived locally for many years and were visiting family and friends no problem with the location

The overall cottage is very tired the kitchen was well equipped the TV 📺 poor the electric fire in the sitting room needs replacing and the sofa and chairs could do with cleaning a little grubby upstairs the main bedroom is in need of a chair and the bed desperately and I mean DESPERATELY need changing as do the pillows (photos of bed the enclosed) the bathroom shower cubicle the wall needs some attention as it’s black and very off putting-the bathroom mat is dangerous it’s needs a nonslip mat-poor quality throughout upstairs

Beautiful location. Cosy clean comfy cottage with everything you need. Very friendly and helpful locals in pub next door.

Shower whilst good didn't drain well. Microwave suitable plates would be handy although kitchen equipment was good. Need a new kettle (drippy when poured) and tin opener.

Passable

Great location, quaint cottage but elderly be aware the steps to front door are steep/high. As are the steps into back garden. Cottage was clean too and beds comfy. We had to leave earlier due to family emergency

Microwave and toaster tripped every time it was used. No food storage space in kitchen and no grab rails outside of bedroom doors at steps.

A really enjoyable stay in this lovely part of Wales

8.0

The cottage was clean comfortable and cosy and the location was excellent, a few yards from a lovely country pub with wonderful views of the hills, This time of year was especially nice (in April) seeing all the newborn lambs in the field. It was right next to the River Dee and there were lots of great walks around the local area. The shop was a short drive away in Corwen, and within easy driving distance of Llangollen. A great base for an exploring holiday and good value for money

Although there was a well equipped kitchen, the kettle was a bit dangerous because it didnt pour correctly so boiling water did splash. Also the microwave seemed to trip out the fuse box so we stopped using it.
