Uninhabitable, health hazard, and bugs on the beds- forced to leave immediately!
1.0Absolutely nothing. It was an extreme let down.
− We had an appalling experience and were forced to leave the property immediately upon arrival. Because our children have asthma, we explicitly informed the host beforehand and paid an additional £85 for a "deep clean" to ensure the property was safe and immaculate. Instead, the moment we walked in, we were met with completely unhygienic, hazardous, and shocking conditions. Most disturbingly, there were both live and dead bugs on the bedsheets in every single room. In addition, the property had visible spider webs in multiple areas, dead bugs piled on the window sills, hazardous screws left on the kitchen floor, and droppings on the worktop indicating potential mice. We absolutely could not risk our children sleeping or breathing the air in this environment. The host’s suggestion to wait around for a reclean was entirely unreasonable given the severity of these issues and the fact that we had already pre-paid for a deep clean. This massive disappointment forced us to scramble for last-minute alternative accommodation, costing us just under £4,000. While the host did process a refund for the booking, the advertised photos are incredibly misleading and do not reflect the actual, unacceptable state of the property. We will be submitting full photographic evidence to Booking.com. Strongly advise avoiding.

A comfortable family stay with good facilities and a convenient location, with room to improve the pre-arrival process.
10.0The property was spacious, clean, and well located for our family visit. The self check-in process was smooth, and the kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The host was responsive to our queries, and the accommodation was comfortable for a longer stay.
− It would be helpful if the check-in documentation and damage deposit process were handled through the Booking.com platform or a more secure verification system rather than external email. Some additional information about parking and housekeeping services before arrival would also improve the guest experience.
