Lake view was really well located for us as we were needing to pick up our daughter from Bournemouth airport later in the evening so it gave us a place to stay to avoid being home too late. It was really well thought out with a double and single room both with en-suite, as well as a kitchen living area with everything you’d need. Loved the view of the lake and the grounds being available for us to walk round in the evening

Beautiful piece of land with its own lake

Neil & Natalie are wonderful hosts. The place is located on a beautiful piece of land with lake, plenty of cosy places to sit and to enjoy breakfast, the sunset or just the stunning water lilies. The house is squeaky clean, has very comfortable mattresses and a cosy living room. I was also a fan of the big shower and the huge door opening up the front side which creates an undistracted view over the land and lake… and if you are as lucky as us a badger and dears too. There are also pretty Alpacas, cute Goats, Valentine the friendly bull and all the wildlife you might see especially during early hours and at night. We loved it so much that we extended our stay and will hopefully be coming back one day. Thanks for a lovely time

good space, ideal for 3 people , kitchen and sitting area well supplied

− We only stayed for a very short visit, but had we been staying and sitting outside in the pleasant terrace area the owners DIY pots / paints / tools / other sundries were left very near the front door to the let space in full view, to improve the overall appearance of the place these should be put behind a screen or tidied away. They detract from the presentation which is a shame as its a very pretty outlook to a lake otherwise. Also consider screens on the inside of the bedroom windows as the lake attracts mosquitos, and as its so hot guest inevitably would like the windows open over night.
