Prima appartement voor korte tijd voor het Lake District. In stad zelf weinig tot niets te doen.
8.0Locatie in een erg rustig, wat verouderd stadje met zicht op de jachthaven. Parkeren onder het gebouw. Goede uitvalsbasis voor alles in het Lake District. Alles is binnen ruim een uur rijden wel te bereiken. Zelfs een bezoek aan Edinburgh is wel te doen. Rustig gelegen. Schoon. Ruim appartement. Slaapkamer kan erg donker gemaakt worden wat erg prettig is. Twee badkamers. Vlakbij Aldi en Tesco. Alles op loopafstand. Paar eetgelegenheden in de directe omgeving. Diverse afhaalmogelijkheden. Contact met de verhuurder ging via de app en die werden direct beantwoord. Prima TV met mogelijkheid voor Netflix etc. Pub schuin tegenover.
− Lijkt op de foto's wat luxer en comfortabeler dan het is. Aanrechtblad, eettafel en eetkamerstoelen zijn van formica / kunststof. Eettafel ook erg klein, helemaal voor 4 volwassenen. Geen welkomspakketje. Ook geen enkel schoonmaakmiddel aanwezig op handzeep en afwasmiddel na. Wij bleven 13 dagen en kochten dus zelf maar wat vuilniszakken, theedoeken, schoonmaakmiddelen voor het toilet etc. Contact gehad over het ontbreken van een stofzuiger die de dag erna wel direct werd gebracht. Ook router viel uit en kon tijdens ons verblijf blijkbaar niet gemaakt worden. Gelukkig kunnen uitwijken naar een WIFI van een ander appartement van de verhuurder in hetzelfde complex. Bedden zijn erg klein / smal en wel heel erg zacht. Voor ons 60+ beetje TE zacht. Appartement heeft wel wat aandacht nodig (wat schimmel in de douche, oven niet schoon (en dus niet gebruikt), wat beschadigingen links en rechts en twee missende rolgordijnen. Maar voor 13 dagen okee te doen want wij waren meestal toch op pad.

− Manglet vifter, noe vi trengte da det var litt varmt i leiligheten, men det kjøpte vi til ok pris på Morrisons. Kunne gjerne vært knagger i gangen og på badene, og gjerne hylle i dusjen til sjampo og dusjsåpe.
