Spacious apartment in a great location, but needs better maintenance and cleanliness
4.0The apartment is very spacious, bright, and in an excellent location in Chelsea. The living areas are large, the kitchen is very comfortable, and the bathrooms were in good condition. It works well for a group and has great potential.
− Upon arrival, there was a strong smell of cigarette smoke and marijuana, especially in the hallways and one of the bedrooms. Cleanliness overall was below expectations. Several maintenance issues: the safe box was not working, the washing machine and dishwasher only worked after we cleaned the filters ourselves, and water pressure in the kitchen was very low (a plumber had to come to fix it). The main bed is also quite small (around 140 cm) considering the size of the room. The apartment would benefit from better upkeep and repainting. We informed the host about the issues and they offered a mid-stay cleaning, which we appreciated, but we preferred not to interrupt our stay. As we were on vacation, we also chose not to request a change of apartment. With better maintenance and attention to detail, this property could be excellent.
