Perfect location: quiet and just off the beach.

A stone’s throw from the beach, so a really perfect location, although a bit hard to find when I first arrived. It’s a really quiet little area, and Google Maps couldn’t find the place. But once I found it, I was delighted with the location (the attached photo was the view from my balcony). The staff were incredibly helpful. We needed to head off very early in the morning when we checked out, and they kindly made us a packed breakfast that we could eat on our journey. Otherwise the breakfasts in the property were very nice, and it being a guest house rather than a hotel, the breakfast was made for us personally, rather than just sitting in a buffet type arrangement. We had an incident with a door slamming terribly hard so that it caused damage to the doorframe (it was incredibly windy when we stayed, and we had windows open that caused a big through draft). They kindly fixed the door frame with no fuss. In general they were very amenable and customer-focussed.

− The only down side was there was no kettle in the room, so we had to go down to the shared kitchen to make tea.

L’hôtel était manifestement pas terminé. Les travaux en cours ne permettait pas d'apprécier à sa juste valeur l'emplacement à proximité de la plage. est

− La présence de travaux à l’hôtel et à la maison à coté peut être dérangeante. L'accueil par le personnel avant l'arrivée de la gérante est très réservé. Peu d’échange en anglais et pas d'initiative pour situer la chambre à occuper. Heureusement la responsable a su nous proposer une chambre.

Location seems nice - when the hotel is actually open

− We didn t stay there. When we arrived the hotel (at notified hour of arrival) it was under renovation and not open for the season. Very surprised they accepted our booking. After several attempts at contacting the staff someone people showed up after 30 min yelling at each other in Georgian. Very unpleasant situation. They led us to another guest house that was also shut down (water turned off etc). At least they agreed to cancel the booking. We had to drive around for an hour at 7pm to find an open hotel, very disappointing experience for our first visit to the Black Sea Coast.
