10.0Our experience at Spirit Camp exceeded all of our expectations. We arrived at the parking area in the village, about 12 km from the camp, where we received a warm welcome from Josef. He shared information about the desert, the local culture, and the activities available, making us feel excited for the our stay. From there, we rode camels to the camp, a journey of about two hours. Along the way, we stopped on the highest dunes to watch the sunset it was a peaceful and unforgettable moment. When we arrived at the camp, we were welcomed with traditional Moroccan tea and delicious homemade cookies. Dinner was the best meal we had during our entire trip to Morocco. To make our evening even more special, the team surprised my girlfriend with a birthday celebration around the campfire, accompanied by traditional Berber drums, music, and dancing. It was completely unexpected and truly the highlight of our trip.
