− Je n'ai jamais reçu le code pour la clé du logement, donc la journée de notre arrivée, on n'avait pas accès au logement, j'ai appelé et l'appelle ne sortait, j'ai écrit à plusieurs reprises par message et courriel à l'établissement et jusqu'à date, je n'ai pas eu de réponse, le seul message que j'ai reçu c'était la journée de la réservation oú c'était écrit un code qui me correspondait pas pour les clés et que la personne responsable habitait dans une maison jaune proche, on est allé la chercher et personne a répondu non plus, presque 2 heures après d'attente et sur le point d'anneller et chercher une autre place de dernièr minute, on est retourné à la maison jaune et on a eu l'accès à l'hébergement. Si vous arrivez un dimanche prévoyez d'amener des choses à manger car il n' y a rien aux alentours.

Slice of heaven

Loved being up in the mountain having a bit of a view of the Douro Valley. A very unique place with lovely areas to look out and walk nearby.

− It took my husband a bit off guard to travel on the roads beside the mountain as we live in flat terrain. I thought it was well worth it. A little slice of heaven.

The views don’t make up for the uncomfortable stay

The only good thing was the views, which were definitely worth it.

− The house itself is not bad, but the experience was very uncomfortable. In the kitchen, there was only one usable pan, the sponges were in terrible condition, and they barely provided supplies (one full roll of toilet paper and another half-used one for 4 people). There wasn’t even a trash bag, a mop, or a dustpan. The bathroom floor got flooded every time we used it, and we had no way to clean up the water. Parking is impossible – we could only leave the cars thanks to some neighbours who let us use their driveway. And to top it off, checkout was at 10:00, while we were still tidying up and loading the dishwasher, at 10:05 they were already coming in to change the sheets. Nothing relaxing or comfortable at all.
