Perfect stay for a weekend getaway with amazing food!
10.0This was the perfect stay! Hunor and his family are the perfect hosts. The location is amazing, the surroundings are beautiful, the houses are fully equipped for a cozy stay, and the food is unbelievable! We are coming back for sure in the fall, but it was perfect for a summer getaway.
Perfect gateway stay
10.0The staff was helpful, the property is beautiful, our tiny home was everything we wanted. High cleaning standards and the food is delicious.
Amazing experience
10.0We stayed at Sowilo Retreat as a group and had an incredible experience. The retreat is family-run and filled with warmth and intention. We each had our own tiny houses, plus one dome — and the dome was my personal favorite. It was such a unique, peaceful space to relax in. The tiny houses were beautifully designed and cozy, with an amazing view — waking up to the sight of beautiful trees right outside the window was pure magic. There’s also a gorgeous trail nearby that winds through nature for about 30 minutes — perfect for a morning walk or some quiet reflection. The food was absolutely delicious, and the fact that wine and beer were included with dinner made our evenings feel even more special and relaxed. They also offer sound baths and yoga, both of which were amazing and added a really grounding, rejuvenating element to the retreat. I highly recommend Sowilo if you’re looking for a soulful, nature-filled escape with beautiful accommodations, great food, and a truly welcoming atmosphere.
We loved our weekend stay there and would definitely come again!
8.0We loved our stay at Sowilo. The tiny houses are definitely small but offer the comfort of everything you need for a shorter stay/ glamping. There’s only 4 houses on the property so it felt very secluded and private. Our view from the bedroom was directly into the forest which was super calm. The owners were extremely nice - they brought us dinner when we arrived after dinner time and we really enjoyed their sound bath. We also really liked the walking/ hiking trail on the property itself. The food was good - nothing too exciting but solid!
− Nothing really - just to set expectations: the second bedroom within the tiny house is very small and simple, I would not recommend staying with another couple but could be fun with kids. There isn’t much to do right in the area but plenty within a 40 min drive so as long as you’re there to relax and/ or have a car to drive around it’s perfect.
Our stay was exactly what I needed, time surrounded by nature, with kids and not having to worry about food.
9.0The tiny house is exactly like the pictures and had everything we needed and nicely decorated. The property is very well kept, the food was amazing, Huron and Eva did great meals for our toddler too.
− We had a water issue that got fixed before we left.
Magical Escape at Sowilo Retreat!
10.0I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sowilo Retreat, and it was a truly magical experience! Honur and his family went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. As a world traveler, I usually prefer international vacations, but sometimes you just need a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Sowilo Retreat, located about 7 hours from my home, provided the perfect escape. The retreat itself is a nature lover's paradise. The facilities are well-maintained and perfectly suited for a relaxing getaway. The food was absolutely delicious and incredibly healthy. Freshly baked sourdough bread, homemade almond milk, and homemade granola were just a few of the highlights. Beyond the stunning scenery and delicious food, Sowilo Retreat offers a variety of activities to promote relaxation and well-being. I particularly enjoyed the sound bath healing and yoga sessions.
