Posizione perfetta per raggiungere il centro grazie alla vicinanza della metropolita, considerate le dimensioni della stanza aveva tutto il necessario per trascorrere un settimana in tranquillità letti molto comodi e durante la notte non si sentono le classiche sirene di polizia/vigili del fuoco che invece si sentono in centro, ottima anche la climatizzazione anche se un po' rumorosa, la zona può sembrare non delle migliori ma non abbiamo mai avuto nessun problema nemmeno durante la notte. Ottimo prezzo

− Tutto perfetto forse l'insonorizzazione delle camere non è delle migliori ma vista la tranquillità del quartiere difficilmente sentirete rumori mi è capitato solo un paio di volte di sentire qualcuno salire e scendere dalle scale e la camera con bagno è davvero piccola se siete in due e avete due valigie grandi farete un po' di fatica a starci ma non dovrebbe essere un problema enorme e non c'è nessuna presenza di armadi al massimo un appendiabiti molto piccolo dove al massimo potete appendere una decina di capi o qualche giubbotto

Clean and efficient, though impersonal

Clean and quiet private hostel, efficiently run and good value (by the very expensive standards of New York city). A lot of useful information was provided in advance and I was pleasantly surprised that my private room was quiet. and large enough for one person, with a small table and chair. Both it and the shared bathroom were very clean. The location was better than I expected, close to the subway, and it felt reasonably safe, though New York city's problems with homelessness and mental illness are very evident in this neighbourhood.

− The room was very small (as expected) and looked out on a rubbish dump. One strange aspect was that you never met the people running the hostel, who could watch you on CCTV, but only communicated via the Booking.com App. (I was anxious about this anyway as I received several fraudulent phishing messages in relation to this booking, which has never happened before with any other booking made through Booking.com). The management of this hotel are rightly security-conscious, but have gone overboard with electronic combination locks on every single door. Despite being sent multiple messages about how to use the door system, I still found it a bit difficult on arrival, especially as there was no explanation as to how to unlock the door leading to the shared bathroom. If you mistyped the combination, the locks would also seize up for several minutes before you could try again.

I definitely would not recommend this place.

Great location for transport: Very close to the metro station. Bathroom: Decent and fully functional bathroom.

− Unsafe neighborhood: The area felt very unsafe with a high presence of drug users on the streets. Returning late at night was intimidating—even walking those 20 meters from the metro station, you have to keep your head down and hurry inside to avoid trouble. Tiny, cramped room: The room was extremely small—barely enough space for two people to turn around. No amenities & uncomfortable environment: There was no kettle to make a coffee or tea. The air conditioning was weak and didn't help much. We couldn't open the window either because you could hear rats squeaking outside.

The hostel itself was very nice, beds were very comfortable.

− The place around the hostel was not very welcoming (weird people in the streets).
