The house is big, clean, and very well equipped.There is a beautiful view on Porto Santo Stefano. We were welcomed very nicely by Chiara who took the time to explain us everything.

− The access by a small and steep road to the house is very difficult by car and very challenging by walk. It really limited our mobility and we stayed every evening at home as we did not want to take the road by night. There was a power outrage due to a storm and some floading in the villa.

Porto Santo Stefano is a nice little seaside town with some

− We left after one night, as we didn’t feel safe staying in a moldy flat with serious issues. Our feedback is meant to help other families avoid a similar experience. The walls, especially on the lower floor, were moldy due to humidity (photo), and there was a strong, unpleasant odor throughout the house. Power outages occurred during short showers if the air conditioning or washing machine was also running — we had three blackouts in one evening. The property lists itself as a “Luxury beach house,” yet several appliances were outdated or unusable — for example, a rusty drying rack (photo). Basic amenities were missing: no coffee capsules, no coffee, not even a starter portion of detergent for the washing machine. The apartment was cold, and there were no instructions for heating. There was no Wi-Fi when we arrived; we were told it would be fixed the next day, but it still didn’t work by the time we left. We immediately informed the host and asked for a refund. They offered a different accommodation, in another area, which did not meet our needs.
