A successful exploration of the lifestyle of Penne!
10.0We are an older (NOT elderly!) couple. We found our apartment and retrieved the keys easily due to our hosts excellent directions. This apartment is clean, well furnished and has a spectacular view from the small terrace. There are 2 bedrooms and a sofa in the living room that seemed comfortable enough to sleep on. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook several meals. Plenty of hot water. But the best part of our trip was in getting to meet our hosts, Jenny and Fiore. They are delightful and we hit it off with them immediately. They were so helpful in giving us suggestions about where to go and what to do. We were in town with an eye on finding something for the long term, and they schooled us regarding the ins and outs of expats living in Italy. We were charmed with everything, and will return in 2026

10.0The house was beautifully furnished with all the essentials. To be honest, it actually looked better and more brightly coloured than the photos on the listing. It exceeded my expectations. The electric roller shutters were a bonus to keep out the early morning sunlight if you like to sleep in. And the air conditioner worked great. The balcony view was splendid and tranquil. Hanging washing has never been so delightful! Central location to Pene town, a short walk, with a small hill to walk up but you can drive up, right to the front door and drop your bags. It is a large apartment, 2 bedroom and it was great to unwind and unpack our luggage in the spare room and to have a lovely lounge room to sit in the afternoon and relax or have a quick much needed nap like i did on the comfy couch. Great communication with Jenny and Fiore and easy check in and check out instructions. I will definitely be re booking Casa Bianca when i return to visit my family in Penne, Abruzzo.
