Trpanj is a great place for a quiet family vacation. The apartment is very spacious, comfortable, and well equipped. The hostess is very nice and approachable. The building in which the apartment is located is somewhat older, but the exceptional location and beautiful view outweigh any possible disadvantages related to it.

First trip to Trpanj

The views were stunning. Beaches were close. Restaurant, ice cream shop, and small grocery shop were just down the street. The apartment was clean and spacious for 4 adults and 2 teenagers. AC in both bedrooms is a plus.

− Not a lot of money is needed for this place to be perfect. The one thing that I hated the most was the beds. They make noises with every little move. Doors were squeaky also, and there were no keys at all. Not even for the bathroom door for some privacy. I asked for them, but no reply. Bathrooms were stinky, especially in the morning. I'm not sure what can be done about this, but that sewerage smell was backing up, and it's awful. Bring your own soaps, shampoo, etc. Utensils and some dishes could also be replaced. Entrance is through the restaurant, but that wasn't a big deal for us. Overall, we had a good stay. Kid's enjoyed the water, so we stayed outside most of the time.

This apartment is centrally located, in the very heart of Trpanj (right in front of the ferry landing). The place is very spacious, super clean and the views from the apartment are breathtaking. Communicating with the host was excellent, as she was very interested to hear my feedback on the apartment and how to improve our experience and those of future guests. We had absolutely no noise (I see that some guests had issues with the noise coming from the restaurants below).The apartment is a 3rd floor walkup, which wasn't a problem for us, but I can see how that could be an issue for some. There are plenty of bars and restaurant that are all just a few dozen meters from the apartment. The restaurant that we liked the most was right in front of the entrance to the building - Joja bistro (the food was excellent, particularly a fish plate for 2, we highly recommend). The pizzeria at the corner - Veslo - was great as well!

− This has nothing to do with the apartment itself but with the business owners in Trpanj. Croatia recently joined the eurozone and opened the bridge that connects Peljesac peninsula with the continental Croatia, so this got them to over-inflate the prices in the bars and restaurants as well as in the local grocery stores. To top it all off, we were constantly being double charged for items we were buying in the grocery store "studenac", so double check your receipts.

The vacation brought us a lot of joy and positive energy.

The apartment exceeded our expectations by far! The rooms are clean, well-distributed, and filled with plenty of natural light. It is centrally located to the beach, restaurants, and supermarkets. The views of the sea, the Mother Mary statue, and the sunsets were simply phenomenal! It was by far the best vacation we've had in years - we will definitely come back! Many thanks to the hostess who made our time at Apartment Sunset so beautiful and for her fantastic personality!

Trpanj is a heavenly destination, the apartment is in an excellent location with a beautiful view of the sea.  The apartment is truly royal - 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 balconies, huge kitchen, dining room and common room.  Everything is artistically refined and pleasant.  We had 2 kids and 2 teenagers and we all enjoyed our stay.  The apartment is excellent for people who want to fully enjoy their vacation.  The beach is gravel with a long jetty, a minimum of people, the best for entertain children and adults, the best that we have experienced so far.  Plenty of parking space and delicious food in the nearby Konoba.  Nice people everywhere. I fully recommend.
