Extremely comfortable and well provisioned apartment. Plenty of space for the 2 of us - more guests would also be fine. Quiet location, handy supermarket around the corner. Easy walks to city sites, and easy drives to explore the wider area.

We booked on the day of arrival and the owner was very flexible and responsive The apartment was more than perfect : modern, clean, BIG (which is so important with a young kid who needs to move and play), with a washing machine and very good equipments. Good starting point to visit Matera with affordable prices

A jewel in Montescaglioso

Great property! Everything is new, mattresses, pillows very comfy, very nice and clean bathroom, fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances you might need. Also, it has a small balcony with a round table and two chairs, perfect for enjoying a wine one evening, please add a photo of it, very nice surprise! The owner is very helpful, available and nice. We received a lot of good recommendations, from restaurants, to shops, to things to visit. Every time we had a problem, it was quickly solved - for example a messy internet connection one day (we worked remotely from the location and stayed for 3 weeks) - stable wifi connection available in all the house. 15min on foot to the old town (a little uphill), but without the hustle of finding a parking place. Always found a spot just in front of the property (stayed in May).

− Breakfast is included, but it is a cupboard full of biscuits, bagged croissants, jams, honey etc. We would have preferred a voucher at the bar across the street as we know other properties do (to be able to have a panini / puce etc). Also there were not enough coffee capsules - good Illy espresso machine - (needed at least 40 - one per day, per person) and had only 18 (+ 10 when we asked for more), but after that had to buy our own. Also, just to be aware that when you rend the property for only 2 pers, the other bedrooms will be locked - fair enough, but it might be useful as an info if you think you will have all the house for yourselves. Minor stuff you discover when staying over 20 days as we did, but apart this everything was wonderful!
