A peaceful place to unwind

This house is in such a beautiful location, surrounded by spacious open ground, tall trees and views of the lake. The views from the deck and the dining room are very peaceful. The linens are good quality and the decor really pleasant. We enjoyed walking down through the bush trail to join the established paths around the lake. The upstairs kitchen was really well provisioned and the welcoming prosecco appreciated.

− The house was a little quirky but cosy and comfortable for our family to get together. The French doors between the bedroom and dining room upstairs should be fixed so they can be closed and they need a blind on those doors for privacy. Having the large fridge downstairs with the main kitchen and cooking facilities upstairs meant a lot of to and fro in preparing meals. I’m sure a spot could be found for it in the upstairs kitchen.

The outside of the property . The amount of outdoor activities . The pool and sauna, the garage full of activities , the hammock, the set up , everything . It was spectacular

− No tv up stairs , and the way the two kitchens were set up . Should be a main fridge upstairs as well as down .

Amazingly clear instructions with pictures, so that I could get into the property easily after collecting the keys from the lockbox. The property itself is set away from neighbours, but still really close to the different facilities you may need. The views were spectacular, the wildlife abundant, and there so many different little touches that made the place special! A welcome basket of goodies, salt and pepper and different condiments in the cupboards, lots of toilet paper and paper towel! Honestly cannot wait to go back there again! Highly recommend!
