A place for true relaxation
10.0An amazing place for complete relaxation. The place fully corresponds to the description. This is a place for unity with nature, without the hustle and bustle and crowds. If you want to reboot, then this is the place for you. Special thanks to the hosts, they are a wonderful family who will always help and feed you with a delicious breakfast. The hosts always keep the area and rooms tidy. The beaches nearby are all amazing and almost secluded. I highly recommend this place!

10.0The hosts are very pleasant and helpful. They also provide excellent catering. The room was very clean with an exit to the terrace right on the beach. You can buy or exchange money in Ambalangoda, where the bus goes.

10.0It is right at the ocean front and family run. The owners are wonderful, caring people and homemade food is delicious. It is one of the best places, I've been.
− It is not a party place, there's only one other beach restaurant and waves are a bit rough. If you are seeking a calm and beautiful stay: this is just right.

10.0Location was amazing.......5 metres from the waves......a very nice young family run this place and can not do enough for you. They have a small menu for food, but will cook whatever you ask for at very reasonable prices.

9.0Silver Sands Beach near Ambalangoda is a great spot if you prefer a quieter, less touristy beach area. Only a 2 hour drive from Colombo. We loved the beachfront location, clean simple rooms, and the amazing helpful host. The joggingpath nearby was also an added benefit. Breakfast was served on the terrace in the morning, and they even helped us book the Madu River tour before arrival. If you are looking for a simple, relaxing stay at a very reasonable price, don't hesitate to book a room at Silver Sands Beach.
− We rented 2 rooms - it would have been nice with A/C in both and not only the one.
