I won't return.
3.0Not a lot. Even though the place could do with a complete update, at least the bed sheets and shower room seemed clean. The host did respond to my message promptly about local taxi recommendations and gaining access to the house (via the key in the bin).
− The host left the house key in a water butt bin out the front with a big sign on the window telling all passers by where the key was. We didn't meet the host. The house had a really peculiar fishy smell noticeable as soon as we walked in. The entire place could do with a major overhaul and update. It was very basic and a bit odd. The photos on the website are pretty awful (happy to say the place wasn't as bad as the photos showed) - but we were desperate for accommodation and there was literally nowhere else, so we booked it with trepidation. There were lots of doors and gates etc opening and closing late at night, which disturbed us and some noisy neighbours. When we returned on the 2nd night, there was a car battery placed in the water butt!! I don't think this should be a home stay until these issues are addressed. It has potential but I was constantly on edge.
