Too many things didn’t work properly.
6.0The apartment’s location is excellent, right in the center of Tórshavn, close to the harbor and many bars and pubs. It is also fairly well furnished.
− To access the apartment you do a self check-in, so there is no contact with the owners and, even in case of need, it is impossible to reach them because they do not reply to WhatsApp messages, Booking messages, or phone calls. In the stairwell there is a horrible smell, like sewage, which is really unpleasant. The kitchen is good, but it lacks some essential utensils, such as a colander and a can opener, and the food scale had dead batteries. On top of that, the oven was not properly cleaned. The Wi-Fi didn’t work, the washing machine assigned to us didn’t work either, so we had to use another one that wasn’t ours. The dryer did work, but not optimally. The shower has a strange system to turn on the water and at first we couldn’t figure out how to use it, but eventually we managed. On the outside part of the shower there is mold. From time to time, the toilet flush mechanism would jam. Another very serious issue: one evening we found out through other sources that there had been a water contamination in Tórshavn and it was not recommended to drink tap water. Once again, the owner never showed up and gave us no guidance about it.

7.0− Trånga sovrum, ej bäddat, avsaknad av sängbord, saknad plats för packning. Oklart om det gick att parkera vid boendet. För varmt i lägenheten.
