La casa es una preciosidad. Tiene muchísima luz y está decorada con mucho estilo. Además está ubicada en una zona muy tranquila. La piscina es un oasis de relax y el hibisco que hay plantado es simplemente maravilloso. Seguramente volveremos.

− Quizás se le podrían añadir algunas frigorías más al aparato de aire del salón, ya que no enfría lo suficiente. Por otro lado, las almohadas se podrían cambiar por otras un poquito más cómodas. Los ventiladores de techo hacían demasiado ruido para ponerlos por la noche. Por último, ya que no pudimos utilizar plataformas como Netflix, Disney, etc, estaría bien tener un reproductor de DVD…

De buitenruimte

− De bedden waren voor ons persoonlijk vrij smal en als je draaide erin kraakt het nogal hard. Ook is de living en keuken eigenlijk vlak tegen da kamers waardoor slapen soms moeilijk werd als er veel beweging in huis was. 1 van de 2 kamers heeft ook bijna geen opbergruimte voor je kleren. Ook wat ik wel wil vermelden is dat het hele huis en buiten eigenlijk vol met camera's/ bewegings sensoren hangt waardoor het toch een beetje oncomfortabel voelt. Het huis is te bereiken via bijzonder stijle berg.

La casa muy limpia y la cocina muy completa. Los anfitriones muy atentos. Zona muy tranquila cerca de calas, restaurantes, supermercados. La piscina y todo el exterior de la casa muy cuidado.

A Villa Mira to Admire-a!

This is a lovely place to stay. The accomodation has been recently renovated and is lovely. It was peaceful and quiet and extremely well equipped. It's in a great location with a nice pool.

− As a previous guest mentioned, the bedding and bed linen were disappointing. Two single duvets on each of the double beds meant that we went to JSYK in Calpe and bought a softer double duvet cover etc. The bedrooms were nice enough although the property lacks a full length mirror. I would also suggest you will need a car if you truly want to explore the area and have easy access to big super markets and destinations such as Calpe and Alicante. The property was hard to find. It is in the middle of an extensive residential area. Both Apple Maps and Google satnav guided us in circles. As far as we could see the property does not have a CASA MIRA sign outside. Fortunately their kindly neighbour was waving to us in the middle of the road! It is also worth knowing that there is an additonal flat above the property. It was vacant during our stay but it is worth checking it out as the windows are directly above the pool and font outdoor area. We also struggled with the fact that we could not find a general instruction manual in any language. There was a file with a basic golfing map and some other bits and pieces. The microwave and hob have some idiosyncracies - if you have not used an induction hob before it was not quite as straightfoward as it seemed. Fortunately the manuals were there and IKEA print them in a number of European languages. One thing to be aware of - and this took us by suprise - is that two years ago the laws in Spain changed. In short this means that keys to rental properties must be handed over in person at both ends of your stay. An inpsection of the property takes place when you hand back the keys and before you can leave. We weren't made aware of this and having looked back over all of the paper work could not find any reference to it. You have to leave the place 'Broom Cupboard' tidy. If you're in a rush to get to the airport it can slow you up! It was a slightly weird end to a fantastic week in this lovely villa.

We had amazing days in casa Mira. We loved the location, the view, the pool and the tranquility of the place. Just perfect for us. Casa Mira was newly renovated, and well equiped with all we needed. The hosts were very friendly, and easy to get in touch with if we had any questions. We hope to come back soon!
