I read the other reviews and was wondering what they meant by good location. Realised that its good location (or at least to me) meant that it was really accessible from the highway exit and other parts of CH (especially if you are coming from the romandie side via Domodossola), and also easy to access some of the more iconic Ticino attractions (Valle Maggia, Verzasca etc) and the lovely Italian towns nearby. You do have to drive up a steep road to get there, but it's common in TI if you are not staying by the lake and honestly, compared to my last accommodation in Ticino, this one was really easy to drive up to. The place is quaint and while though small and cosy, it has everything one needs for a stay. It is well-maintained and clean. Also, this has probably one of the most welcoming and warm hosts I've ever encountered. Nicola provided very detailed and helpful check-in instructions... there was nothing of the usual confusion and deciphering of vague instructions. You can tell Nicola puts a lot of pride into providing a comfortable experience for his guests.

− This is no biggie, but it did feel a little cram even though it was just 2 of us. So if you like your accommodation with more breathing and walking space, this one could feel small-ish.

Super nette Hostin, perfekte Kommunikation, super Lage! Würde gerne im Sommer noch kommen.

Alles. Die Lage ist super, es gibt sogar Waschmaschine und Tumbler was für Familien mit Kids sicher ein grosser Plus ist! Im gärtli gibt es sogar eine kleine Rutschbahn. Super!

The place is in a private and quite location. It has all you need, except for micowave. Was very clean and comfy. The garden has a small spring running through it which is really nice. The host was nice and let us check out one hour later with no extra charge.

− Only missing microwave, but we managed with the oven.

Ideal für Erholungssuchende und Wanderer, hingegen für die kühlen Wintermonate weniger zu empfehlen.

Idyllische Lage am Waldrand mit Bach und Holzbrücke vor dem Eingang. Wanderwege und und Restaurant/Grotto liegen praktisch direkt vor der Haustüre. Einrichtung ist vollständig, zweckmässig und modern. Sofa (IKEA Friheten) kann auch als Schlafgelegenheit genutzt werden. Parkplatz praktisch vor der Haustüre.

− Luftqualität ist aufgrund struturell bedingter Feuchtigkeitsproblemen gewöhnungsbedürftig, weshalb wir immer wieder lüften mussten, was Ende Dezember nicht ideal ist. Das Klimasplitgerät muss ebenfalls regelmässig angeschaltet werden, welches zugleich als Heizungslüfter verwendet wird. Diesen Umstand hätten wir gerne vor dem Buchungsabschluss gekannt und ist der Hauptgrund für unsere nicht hervoragende Beurteilung. Die Bettmatraze ist für unser Dafürhalten etwas weich.

In dieser Unterkunft ist definitiv etwas nicht gut. Ich würde nicht mehr gehen.

Die Lage

− Der Geruch war katastrophal. Am liebsten wollte ich gleich wieder gehen. Es hat extrem nach Schimmel gestunken!
