Needs Better Maintenance to Match the Price
5.0The apartment has a lot of potential. The space is large, with a separate bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen equipped with dishes, a microwave, a fridge, and a kettle — everything worked properly. There is air conditioning in the bedroom and a fairly strong fan in the living room. When I asked, I was given a cold bottle of water, which was a nice touch.
− However, several issues affected the stay. Check-in instructions were poor: I had to call and be guided online step by step to the correct door. This could be a serious problem for guests without mobile data. I still don’t understand why I wasn’t given an exact address or a simple Google Maps pin in advance. Inside, there was only one hanger for clothes. The mirror in the bathroom was extremely small — smaller than a smartphone — making it inconvenient. The bathroom bin was full on arrival. I had to ask several times for soap, and eventually received cheap laundry soap, which doesn’t justify the nightly rate. The bedsheets had an unpleasant stale smell, suggesting they hadn’t been changed recently. Both the bedroom and the living room have no windows, only artificial lighting. There were ants in the kitchen. Water outages happen across Mayotte, and this property is no exception; only cold water is available, although bottles of water were stored for use. Overall, although the apartment has good potential, the current state shows clear signs of neglect.

− Des coupures d'eau, mais à l'identique dans toutes les maisons de Mayotte. Heureusement dans le logement il y a de nombreuses réserves d'eau.
