Unsettling surveillance culture, not what was advertised.

− We stayed here recently as a group of six responsible adults and unfortunately cannot recommend this property. The listing did not match what we found on arrival, and the check-in instructions set an unwelcome tone before we'd even walked in the door. Alongside CCTV (which we understand is common for this type of accommodation), the instructions stated that guests were being monitored and that the host would attend the property if they believed more than six people were staying there. As a group of adults who had booked correctly and honestly, being addressed this way felt patronising and unnecessary to us. We were also unsettled to find multiple two-way smart speakers placed throughout the house. To us, this felt more suited to monitoring than convenience, though we can't speak to their intended purpose. It didn't help that one of these devices was playing "Every Breath You Take" by The Police when the first members of our group arrived — the timing felt like an unsettling coincidence at best, given the song's lyrics are about surveillance. Adding to the unease, we noticed someone on a nearby deck who appeared to be watching our group on more than one occasion, which only added to the feeling of being observed throughout our stay. Guests should be able to relax in a rented property without feeling watched or treated with suspicion. For us, the level of monitoring here went well beyond what we'd consider reasonable, and it left us feeling uneasy for the entirety of our stay. We won't be booking again and wanted to share this experience so others can weigh it up before booking.

The location was great. The house was well fitted out and very comfortable. The firepit and fireplace made the stay enjoyable.

We had a nice stay at there and relaxed as much with beautiful surrounding places.

It has a nice backyard and beautiful park behind the house.It was so amazing...❤️ Rooms and kitchen were best and we loved it.🍃

− Some places were not clean properly..etc - Bathtub , toilet. Others were pretty good.

Absolutely perfect in every way.
