Family and pet friendly farm stay♡

Would be lovely if it were clean and under good repair..

On arrival the front door handle was broken .inside the property had not been cleaned bins unemptied crumbs on kitchen table and benches dirty dishes. Microwave was brown .. cooker was dirty loose food in drawers inside ..no TV remote no barbecue no washing machine or dryer.. I contacted booking.com on arrival who then contacted the host we waited to 9.30pm the host did not reply to them they had been contacted 3 times.. now the host reply and is rude why did you not contact Mr directly? No apology ? Well I did not book eith you directly I booked through booking .com and as you did not reply to them to fix our issues they told me it was ok to leave I would receive a full refund which you have denied ! I was traveling with my daughters one of which is autistic and unlocked door in a rural place is not safe in your replies to me you told me your previous guests had been a bit rough with the handle therefor you already knew it was broken and choose not to fix it . Also choosing not to refund???? If the place was clean and fixed it would be a great we spot to stay.. as for the washing machine and dryer in the kitchen there is not the host says they are somewhere on site again if she had replied we would have known this.. her only complaint is that I did not contact her directly but I have several emails where booking.com.did .. also her point of she could come round and sort things how ??? She lives in england the host states the door does lock how you need to use the handle to lock it .

− The dirt of the kitchen and bathroom .. the bathroom still had toothpasre spit in the sink and hairs everywhere

Leaving ASAP the next morning.

− I had to clean a filthy toilet and bathroom vanity on arrival. I couldn't really enjoy my stay after that.

Property was really good value for money. Unfortunately due to a family emergency back home we had to leave the property earlier than intended. O

− Only real issue was the WiFi which didn’t really work well and as the property was in a rural location it was difficult to get good 4g or 5g signal
