Location.

− This place could be amazing, and wouldn't take much to significantly improve the gorgeous building. Weeding the courtyard, this surely is unacceptable. Add a couple more saucepans and collinder to the kitchen. Make the description clearer that the upstairs bathroom is an en-suit to one of the bedrooms. New carpets upstairs needed.. The two bedrooms to the front of the property has original sash windows, these have been painted over and don't open. Therefore for our stay on one of the hottest weekends of the year this was unbearable. Luckily two of our party bought fans as one provided by the accommodation wouldn't have been acceptable but due to the lack of opening windows none of us were able to sleep properly. The ring doorbell, this is not ok. In the welcome book it mentioned to read the privacy policy. I couldn't find the privacy policy. Having a ring doorbell directly over the hot tub is NOT acceptable. Finally the house hadn't been hoovered.

A lovely stay

The house was in a prime location over the road from the river and just a couple of minutes walk to the bridge and the park. Plenty of places close by to eat and parking was also close to the house. The house was lovely and had everything in it that you needed for your time away. Would absolutely stay here again. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Amazing quirky cottage,perfect location, everything you could need clean comfortable, great shower and hot tub..host's very helpful quick to respond. We loved it great weekend.

Hot tub being watched on ring doorbell - no hot water

Location was good.

− Please note this property has a ring door bell in place purely to view yourselves within the hot tub. I didnt know this prior to booking and had I done i would not have booked. No parking permit available despite this being promised on the booking. Only enough hot water for 2 people to have a shower and despite there being 4 phone numbers to contact and also the promise if you ring the ring doorbell that someone will be able to handle any situation. Nobody answered any calls and nobody answered the doorbell. We were called back around 2 hours later after we had given up on showering. There was also ants in the kitchen. There was a beeping smoke alarm when we arrived too - this had clearly been noticed as it had been taken down and set down on the mantle but left with the batteries in despite having a low battery. House was drafty and was extremely cold on arrival. I would not come here again and would not recommend it to any others. Extremely strange and weird recording the hot tub and the compromise of privacy alone - this should be mentioned before booking. If I knew this I would have booked elsewhere.
