True family feel, the hosts go above and beyond
10.0This place is run by the most caring and genuine family, and I will confidently recommend this place for your stay! The building is new, the room has everything basic that you need, including a kettle and hair dryer, (which hasn’t been available anywhere else I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka so far). Delicious home-cooked meals were served on the personal balcony. The mother cooks everything herself and uses ingredients grown in her beautiful garden. The portions were very generous, enough to feed a village! The location is good, with just a walk from the bus stop, and shops & restaurants nearby. What really makes this place stand out are the owners, I felt so well taken care of. They got in contact with me before my arrival and arranged the Udawalawe national park safari for me. On arrival, I was welcomed with homemade orange juice. They packed a breakfast for the safari and even sent me off with some fruit from their garden on my last day. In the evenings when it rained, the host always checked in with me to see if I have electricity or if there are any issues with the room. And to top things off, they drove me to my next accommodation for a reasonable price, as the bus journey would have been 3x as long. I will look back to my stay here with fond memories and encourage you to book your stay here if you want to experience the true Sri Lankan hospitality! 🧡
− It would be nice to have internet available. Also, some ants in the room but they are not harmful and they are everywhere in Sri Lanka :)

8.0Very kind family , delicious breakfast
Beautiful place with kind family and lovely nature
10.0The place is super clean and beautifully decorated. It's almost kind of a flat with a living room, kitchen and outdoor eating space plus terasse :) We were eating so much wonderful Sri lankan food and it was very tasty. Also the family is super nice and welcoming ^^ Definitely would recommend staying there!
Very comfortable, good food, nice family, in the middle of the jungle
10.0I discovered the accommodation by chance while looking for a room along the main road and am now very happy. There is only a very small sign on the road. It is all very modern and clean, there is a kitchen, bathrooms attached to the rooms and a nice pergola around the house in the middle of the dense jungle of Udawalawa. The family and the neighbours are very very nice and take loving care of their guests, preparing various meals on request. They can also arrange tours in Udawalawa or help you to take a bus to arugam bay.
− Very small sign on the road, so a bit tricky to find - but they want to change it, so actually I liked it all.
