Nos gustó el aire acondicionado en todos los cuartos, piscina super limpia para nosotros, que tuvieran jabón y pastillas para la lavadora y el lavaplatos.

− El acceso para aparcar el coche, porque no hay sitio para girar y tienes que salir por el caminito que va hacia la casa en marcha atrás y además el terreno es un poco irregular. Si se pudiera aparcar delante del garage que hay, seria mejor y evitaríais este problema.

Wir werden wiederkommen.

Everything was perfect. I really enjoyed having the whole house to myself. The team was very kind and helpful. I rented a kayak and went to the private beach on the island across the house which I really recommend to do, it is absolutely beautiful and you can come to full peace. I will come back for sure!

Cockroaches inside the house

The location of the house and the outdoor areas are nice

− Very disappointing. The description of the house and the pictures are not representative of the real conditions of the house. The house presents serious hygiene and maintenance problems: (i) Cockroaches in the room area, in the kitchen and in the food (cockroach inside the cereal box); (ii) Ants in the beds of both bedrooms; (iii) Very dirty kitchen. Clearly the kitchen has not been cleaned for a long time. The dishes stored in the drawers and cabinets had food scraps on them. The shelves also had food scraps on them; (iv) There was not a single cleaning product in the house. We bought cleaning products and were cleaning the kitchen and dishes for 2 hours so that we could cook in basic hygienic conditions; (v) Mildew-smelling bath towels; (vi) Only 4 rolls of toilet paper for 6 people and a 6-day stay. We reported the situation during our stay. The staff came to the house with cockroach traps almost 2 days later and mentioned that the other houses managed by them in the area also had cockroaches. She did not seem disturbed by the hygiene problems. After our stay, we reported these problems to the host who said there was really nothing they could do to prevent cockroaches inside the house (reportedly due to the location (Ria Formosa nature reserve area)) and asked us to confirm if we had really seen any cockroaches. Unfortunately, yes. At least 4 of them....

Location of casa Rosa was really nice, 5 minutes walk to the river estuary with a nice seafood bar nearby. Good for walks and cycling in the national park. Also the house had a nice lay out and beautiful garden with pool.

− On the last two days we had to ration toilet paper (it was bank holiday so we couldn't buy any either.) There wasn't definitely enough for 5 adults staying there few days. WiFi signal was extremely poor so we couldn't really use it to do anything. Rooms were cold at night so an extra blanket would have made the whole sleeping experience more pleasant. Also pillows were super thin and we all woke up with bad back
