Great Base for Exploring Wonderful Celano
8.0Exactly what I wanted: plenty of space, everything you need, nice views. It's not a luxury place, but an excellent base for exploring the area. I stayed a week. Celano itself is a lovely place to relax and enjoy a different pace of life. There are stunning walks on the doorstep, or you can get places like L'Aquila or Sulmona pretty easily. The train station is 15 mins walk, main bus stop 10. More importantly, the best pizza shop in town (Pizzeria Fidanza Orietta) is 5 mins, and just across the square is the best place for coffee and croissant (Chantilly) - trust me, I went to most of them.
− I couldn't fault it for myself, but you need to be reasonably fit to get about Celano, where roads and paths at a 45° angle are pretty normal.

8.0La struttura è molto carina e accogliente e pulita. L'uso della cucina è un plus e la vista sulla piana del Fucino molto suggestiva. La posizione comoda e con una breve camminata, con un po' di salita, si arriva al Castello Piccolomini. Prezzo adeguato alla struttura. Proprietaria gentilissima e accogliente.
− Il letto comodo ma un pochino corto se sei un po' oversize.Qualche cuscino più basso sarebbe stato gradito. Con qualche piccolo dettaglio in più (per esempio un phon, una padella e una macchinetta del caffè più recenti) potrebbe essere una struttura top!
