8.0Location and views and what make this place special for a stay in Varenna
− There were some supplies that I thought should be included and s salable but weren’t there. I contacted the owner and they delivered most of what I asked for reasonably quickly. However a couple of items like bath soap and shampoo weren’t delivered and the supply of hand soap was low. Those items should be standard. And extra amounts of toilet paper should be on hand!

9.0Location was perfect, just steps away from the ferry and closer to the train station. The view was amazing In the summer, air conditioning was a godsend And kept the apartment very comfortable Came equipped with washing machine, which was very helpful
− The bed was not very comfortable and only one pillow per person was provided The stove did not function
