Fabulous duplex apartment in Dalston Junction

Awful, dangerous and disgusted by the misrepresentation

Nothing …. The experience was awful

− Let’s see; being woken just as I went to sleep by the sound of someone trying to come into the apartment! I didn’t sleep at all after that. The door was dangerous (the lock had been bashed in previously), there was a metal door that didn’t fit properly and wasn’t secure (I had to wedge the door from the other side which is all that kept out the person trying to break in). There was a leak in the roof that leaked all night (that I had to put the bin under as when I arrived the floor was soaked! And the owner would have easily seen but pretended they didn’t know) It was freezing as no heating on and every window left open (the ironic thing was there were instructions to make sure all windows were securely locked on departure! But I’m guessing this was to get rid of the smell of damp and mould) The place was filthy!!!!! and in a very bad state of repair ….. it’s basically uninhabitable and booking.com really sure vet their properties. Every other review must be someone they know or very very old as this place looks nothing like the pictures and is in my opinion actually dangerous! The tv doesn’t work, the WiFi code and contact info was out of date …. Literally everything about this property was awful and I expected to be harmed within the night; literally stayed awake all night in fear and went to work as soon as I could (with burning eyes from tiredness and a new cold from the conditions)

− Denne lejlighed lever OVERHOVEDET ikke op til billederne!!!! Vi vil aldrig anbefale dette sted til nogen. Der er vandskader overalt, ekstrem dårlig rengøring, krakelerede vægge og mug i hjørnerne. Da det regnede, dryppede det ind af ovenlysvinduet. Der var kæmpestore pletter på sovesofaen og ingen havde lyst til at være i denne lejlighed. Det er et forfærdeligt sted og billederne lyver fuldstæng.

Ottimo appartamento di appaggio per pochi giorni. Grande soggiorno. Località servita da molti servizi (Pub, mezzi pubblici, ecc.)

− WIfi non funzionante ( il gestore però ci ha avvisati poco prima dell'arrivo). sistema di riscaldamento dell'acqua della doccia e del lavandino piuttosto "macchinoso".

− Unfortunately, the apartment was not clean upon arrival. The bathroom cabinet and mirror were dirty, and the kitchen cabinets were also very dirty. In addition, the coffee machine did not work, and we even found a cockroach. There was also a lot of visible damage caused by water leakage, which made the apartment look even more neglected. The apartment is spacious, but very outdated and clearly in need of a major renovation. Another issue is that there are no curtains or blinds in the living room, where the sofa beds are located. As a result, the room gets extremely bright in the morning, making it very difficult to sleep there. Based on our experience, we would unfortunately not recommend this apartment.
