Old town corfu apartment, perfectly placed for a chilled stroll around the old streets of corfu
8.0The location of the property is fantastic, right in the old town but not on the busiest of streets, so it was quiet of a night. The apartment has a nice kitchen area and lounge as well as a separate bedroom and bathroom. There is a washing machine which came in handy. There is a kettle, coffee maker and toastie maker also oven and hob. Pans and utensils are there to use. There is a spare bed in the living room separate from the sofa seen on photos. There is a television. The air conditioning was great and easy to use. The local supermarket is less than a minute walk away which is fantastic, all restaurants are within a short distance. There is also a playground a short walk away. The apartment was very clean when we arrived. Nice clean white towels.
− The steps to the property as it’s on first floor are quite steep, also we arrived late and it was very dark, although there is a small light in the hall it can only be accessed inside the apartment. There is also a glass coffee table quite big in the lounge which is not child friendly (we have a 4 yo) The taxi can only drop off a short walk away as the road is non accessible to traffic, it only took 5 mins but with heavy cases is quite tough. Just a suggestion as to what would be useful is a sharp knife for chopping fruit etc and a brush and shovel.
