Scam. Do not book.
1.0Nothing at all.
− The room was very dirty. The host knew our arrival time but, they should have clean the room before we arrive. We asked the host to clean it, he did with minimum effort and room was still very dirty. The toilet was dirty as well and There were no toiletries or toilet paper. We had to ask for it. The fan doesn’t work and AC was not working properly as well. The furniture of the room is made of bamboo which has sharp edges, if you are not careful you might hurt yourself. The bed was not clean and was very itchy. Towels were dirty as well. I found cockroaches in the room. This property is very pricey and facility is very poor. We informed the host about all these but minimum to no effort was made.
Family trip
1.0The staff is willing to help us, but the hotel cannot provide us.
− The room was very dirty and smoke smell, like no one live here for months. The water was run down, so I have to take a shower in another room. I asked for breakfast at 7.30, but there was no one to prepare 'cause they were sleeping. Stay in other hotels if you could. The price is expensive, not proper.
Cozy hotel with amazing Nile view and friendly staff. Strongly recommended for families
9.0The Nile view from the hotel terrace is fabulous. The food was amazing and tasty, with Egyptian-Nubian exquisite cuisine. The staff is so nice and friendly. They saved no effort to make our stay so comfortable and delightful The two brothers Hassan and Husien helped us in organizing two fantastic day-boat trips
− The furniture in the rooms need some upgrading

Superb
9.0(Maybe 4 stars?) It's a cute guesthouse that boasts a large, open backyard onto the Nile. The co-owners and employees are very friendly and welcoming with a keen sense of doing business. The facility is functional, but don’t expect the cleanliness level of a 5-star hotel's. Rooms are a bit small, though we didn't travel that far to stay in our rooms all day, so it wasn't an issue for us. Overall, it's good dollar value. The only thing to consider is that the guesthouse is not accessible by car or bus. You will have to take a tuk-tuk (can be arranged by the host) to and from the highway drop-off point. So be prepared for a bit of extra fees, also it may not be ideal if you have mobility restrictions. Other than that, try to wake up early to watch the beautiful sunrise from the backyard, with plenty of local birds fishing right on the water.
