A good location for the beach and handy for exploration elsewhere.
5.0We liked being so close to the beach and the free parking. Breakfast brought to the room was great, but the scrambled eggs were a bit hit and miss. The towels were clean and the supply of toiletries was a nice touch, but we didn't use them as we brought our own. The wifi was really fast and good. The bed and pillows were very comfy. It's ideal as a base to go off exploring from. The Dovey pub was our favourite place to go to as they have a dartboard and a pool table and not too expensive regarding drinks.
− I didn't like the shower door falling on me or the toilet seat moving when I sat on it! I did report the shower door and it was sort of fixed, but I still didn't trust it to not fall out again! The overall appearance of the place lacked TLC. Dirty windows, paint peeling on the front door, a generally tired and unloved look about the place. The crows nest is a big room with a big TV, but the ancient DVD player needs to be replaced as it kept sticking when we tried to watch a film on it. The seagulls are really noisy up there too, bring some ear plugs oh and make sure you're fit enough to go up and down those flights of stairs! We were in the Fore, it was like a sauna as there are only two tiny windows you can open for fresh air but the new fan in the room did help a bit. Very limited regarding shops, but not pubs!

10.0Everything. The room is huge! Very clean and tidy, great selection of coffees teas and hot chocolate. Also a little coffee machine too. Lots of storage space. Massive bed! And very comfy had a great night's sleep. The bathroom was very spacious too, and the shower is huge 😍 Having breakfast delivered to your room is a great idea, and there's plenty of choices as well. Reeve is an absolute gentleman, couldn't recommend this place enough!!

10.0Location brilliant. Right on the front at Aberdovey. Fabulous views of the estuary and beyond. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Beds and linen immaculate. Bathroom had large walk-in shower plus a bath. Breakfast was pre-ordered the night before, extensive choice, and arrived at our chosen time piping hot and beautifully prepared. Easy parking in the large car park. Parking pass for free parking provided by Fron Haul.
− Nothing could have been better. This was our second visit to Fron Haul. We have no hesitation in recommending this establishment. Our host, Reeve, could not have done more to make us comfortable.

10.0Not one for guest houses but Fron Haul is not your typical guest house. Excellent from the start. The room was comfortable, excellent view and a fantastic breakfast delivered to your room.
− The stairs up to the Crows Nest room but worth it.
