This is a scam we turned up and they were not there. The place does not exist.

It is a scam no one there

Owners cancelled half an hour after our arrival saying they were elsewhere

Avoid At least I hadn't paid before finding out half an hour after we arrived that we couldn't stay. When Dar Ahmed did not respond when we arrived, the neighbors very kindly helped as best they could

Avoid. We were never able to stay here. We had communicated repeatedly with Dar Ahmed and they responded normally. We wrote again several hours before arriving: no response. Upon arrival: no response. Only after the neighbors got involved, calling them personally, did we hear that they were at a festival in Mhamid and that it would not be possible to stay the night. They offered to put us in touch with someone with a desert camp (not at all what we booked, and presumably that would have had a separate cost). Neighbors said they hadn't been there in days. At the very least, they should cancel 3+ days beforehand! The only reason I gave a 3 instead of a 1 is because this seems to be a new place, so maybe they still need to learn that this is not acceptable.
