Tammey was on top of emails and sharing information - we howdy'd from the parking lot the first day.
8.0Location was pretty good - took me a few trips in to get used to it, but centrally located. Mom suggested that the second bathroom mirror could be a little taller, she's only about 5'2 so it was too high for her to see her face, lol - and she didn't see a stopper for that tub, but as she was taking a shower it was not an issue.
− Actually wasn't bad, but an adventure. Since it was July 4th and we were going to Singing in the Smokies and much of downtown was closed off for the coming fireworks, we were directed by maps to go Old River Road (about 1.5 mile stretch) to Governor's Island. Since we aren't local, it felt a little like off-roading and meeting other cars there was no joke - but that's our fault for not paying attention to our maps, we could have chosen an alternate route, and we did coming home that evening! On the plus side, the views of the river along there are gorgeous, and there are spots where one can pull off for other cars to pass or to stop and look a bit. Honestly wish we had found it earlier, hubby and I would have enjoyed that.
Big Mistake
1.0I'm glad they had electricity and water. The roof over my head help too when it was raining.
− I did not like the host approaching my wife and I with hostility, while we were softly listening to some country music at 9:10 pm, meanwhile, there is a sign in the kitchen that states "quiet time" begins at 11:00 pm, at exactly 9:10 pm the lady stomped up to the porch we were sitting on (in her very short bathrobe), and said "turn the music down now!, I texted you twice!", then followed that by saying "if I don't turn the radio down she's calling the cops" (our 12 year old child was present when this occurred)That was very unprofessional as a host. We went inside and we packed our bags and we left because my wife felt very uncomfortable. She can keep her refund and I will keep my dignity.
