Nature is great, food was OK. Only 2bungalows. 300baht in the rainy season was great. I saw 2 foreigners in 4days on the island. 90 percent were closed on the island, no restaurant open. So you need to eat there in June.

− No power sockets in the room. No bulbs but they give you some portable light if it's recharged. The room was full of spiders and other insects. The bungalow was far better. They don't provide free water. Even for one hot cup of just water they charge 10baht. Instant Coffee is not free, I think 30baht. Food is between 60-120baht. The owner smokes in the common area his stuff and sells pipes, not very talkative or welcoming.

Die Aussicht ist teilweise sensationell.

− Sparrenboden a d Terrasse mit Löchern in denen man durchbricht, gleiches gilt für das Geländer am.Balkon, wäre beinahe 3 Meter die Klippe hinunter gestürzt. 3 Tage ohne Wasser im Bad, "Man könne auch mit Wasserflaschen duschen" Aussage der Betreiber. Strom war von Anfang an nicht vorhanden. Leider hat auch die Qualität des Restaurants in den letzten Jahren stark nachgelassen. Zu guter letzt war die Abrechnung auch mit viel Fantasie durchsetzt. Die Fotos auf booking.com sind absolut veraltet, ein Bungalow existiert gar nicht mehr, der Rest bedarf einer gründlichen Renovierung da Maintenence praktisch nicht vorhanden ist.

J'aurais aimé pouvoir dormir à l'établissement appelé "Nice View Bungalow"... En effet, je ne juge pas des qualités propres à cet établissement, car je n'ai pas pu y séjourner!.. Une fois arrivé, on m'a dit qu'il n'y avait plus de place pour moi...? Et que je devais aller voir l'établissement voisin appelé "Contex Bungalow". Pourquoi pas, sauf que le prix est juste le double de celui prévu pour dormir chez Nice View bungalow (et que là, le petit déjeuner n'est pas inclus). Apparemment cette pratique est courante, car mon voisin a connu la même mésaventure! Apparemment, ce petit tour de passe-passe est bien rôdé... Après, tout le monde est très gentil et la nourriture est bonne. C'est cette pratique et surtout ce manque de communication préalable que je n'ai pas apprécié.

− La pratique qui consiste à appâter des clients en faisant croire qu'ils auront un bungalow à l'établissement Nice View Bungalow pour 400 bahts, alors qu'ils ont 2 chances sur 3 de se retrouver chez le voisin (Contex) pour 800 bahts la nuits. Le manque de communication avant l'arrivée sur l'île... :(

Idyllic huts with more than nice view. (Some even with sunset view). Basic affirdable lodging in wooden huts, very near a beautiful secluded beach and one of the best cooks (Mon) of the Island. Easy walks to nearby places of interest (long Beach, sweet water lake, grocery shop. The perfect place to do nothing else than relax. I planned to stay for 1 week on the island, I stayed for 1 month. Ko Chang Ranong, only for those who love living slow!

Ursprünglich hatten wir nur für eine Woche gebucht, sind aber für einen Monat geblieben. Das sollte schon alles sagen. :

Das Essen war herausragend. Die Bungalows sind gut ausgestattet, wir haben sogar einen Ventilator bekommen. Die ruhige Lage mit Meerblick ist traumhaft. Mon, die Gastgeberin, ist sehr bemüht und geht auf alle Wünsche ein.
