This is a lovely inn, and is even more special to me since it was my home church growing up.
8.0When we stayed there a few years ago, we were served a light afternoon snack, and we had a nice breakfast the next morning. During this visit the breakfast was quite limited and was not what we expected. We liked the themed rooms, and in the World's Fair suite there were books and other information about the fair. We loved the hot tub on the roof!

8.0Beautiful building with architectural design that will make you stop and stare. The Riverfront bedroom was stunning along with the en suite. There are 4 suites. 3 upstairs and one downstairs. We did not hear any other guests which was very nice. The common area was filled with snacks and coffee, tea and hot cocoa. This is nice for a late night snack. Common refrigerator is downstairs in the entrance. This was nice however having a small refrigerator in the room would be preferable. The signage was phenomenal. You knew what was what so easily. The parking pad is wonderful as the streets are very narrow. 4 spots , one per suite. The owners curated a list of places to visit and eat. We ate at two of their recommendations and they were top notch. Chris's pancake house and Charlie Gottos. We had two issues we connected with the owners and they tried their best to help correct. They even left us lovely truffles as a kind gesture.
− For us not having a hot tub sign up was not good. Two couples where in the hot tub Sat night. We experienced ants in the bathroom. We did let the owners know and they tried to get them taken care of. Yes it is that time of year, however the beautiful stained glass windows are open (through cracks) to the outside. We heard the highway traffic all night. The bed is a memory foam type. This is probably wonderful for many, however for us it caused us two nights of restless sleep. Our highest expectation is to be able to sleep. Actionable suggestions: * Offer reservations for hot tub time. * Update description of the type of mattress. While the property is stunning, we would not have chosen due to memory type mattress. * Add silicone or some other material that would not destroy the stain glass windows. Awareness This is nothing the owners can do and something to be mindful of when you visit is that the streets where this location is are very narrow and in need of repair.
