9.0It was self catering. The location was excellent, mid way on Lewis and Harris. Our hosts were excellent, extremely helpful but not interfering. We really appreciated all they told us about Island life and culture and their willingness to introduce me to Scottish Gaelic.
− The weather on the first two days; after that it was fine and we avoided the heatwave affecting so much of Europe.
We were greeted with a warm welcome and lovely fresh scones and had a wonderful stay.
