We Made A Mistake And We Paid For It.
2.0Well, we weren't able to stay. We booked this place by accident as we found out after that they do not accept pets. Our credit card was charged on the 17th for a reservation that began on the 26th. When it was time to sign the reservation agreement (On the 18th), we realized they are not Pet Friendly - Our bad. But when we advised the folks about our mistake (with more than ample time to possibly get another guest), we were told we are out the entire amount of the reservation and were led to believe there were no other options besides offering an exception for our Service Dog...Since we have 2 dogs, that obviously wasn't an option. The reason for the poor rating was the overall attitude and lack of flexibility of the folks we communicated with. We accept that we made a mistake and accept that there should be some repercussions accordingly. Not sure if these people waved the cleaning fee and not sure if they rented it out to someone else for that timeframe. We travel often and have received much better treatment under similar situations. We ended up staying at a similar location on Golden Pheasant Lane. Please consider looking there before you rent from these folks.
