Exceptional hospitality—the perfect ending to our European adventure!
10.0My son and I stayed at Mavi Luxury Suites during the final stop of our five-country European tour. After two and a half weeks of traveling, with some uncooperative weather along the way, we arrived in Rome absolutely exhausted. Owners Andrea and Fiorella made our stay such a wonderful ending to our trip! Their hospitality began long before we arrived. Fiorella had been communicating with me since my initial booking, and when I mentioned how tired we were, she promised to do everything she could to make our stay pleasant. She checked in several times to see how we were managing our travels. That level of care is truly rare! When Fiorella learned we hadn’t arranged transportation from the airport, she immediately sent detailed options for buses, taxis, and private transportation. We chose the private transfer she arranged at a very reasonable rate—all while I was sitting on the tarmac in Paris! Our driver, Emanuele, was courteous and professional. Even though our flight was delayed by weather, he waited for us and made our arrival completely stress-free. Fiorella provided clear instructions for entering the building, and a welcoming host greeted us, showed us around, and explained the amenities. A bottle of prosecco and a stocked mini fridge were such thoughtful touches! The location was perfect, too. Major attractions were within a convenient 20- to 30-minute walk, making it easy to explore Rome on foot. There were also plenty of restaurants and other dining options nearby, so we never had to go far to find a delicious meal. The room was beautifully decorated and modern—exactly my style. And the bed? Oh my goodness, it felt like sleeping on clouds! The thoughtful amenities included luxurious toiletries, slippers, an iron, and even a full-sized toothbrush and toothpaste. After struggling with the disposable mini toothbrushes I had packed, that felt like a little luxury all its own!
Clean, comfortable, and great location!
