− Toilet Seat was slack and a real pain may be needs a handy man to visit for a few little things

Uncomfortable due to the smell of cigarette smoke in property.

Very dissapointed in the property due to high levels of cigarette smoke inside the property despite it being a non smoking property. You could smell cigarette smoke in all rooms including bedrooms. With two young children this was not ideal. Toilet seat was completely broken on arrival. No bowls for breakfast literally one side plate.

− There were loads of cigarette butt's outside the back which my children pointed out to me. I had to leave all doors open including front door to air the property out to get some of the smoke smell out. Not safe with two young children but felt I had no choice. Especially given the location didn't feel the safest. The shower/bath had plenty of hot water which was a plus, and the property whilst was cosy did feel dirty. Toilet seat broken also which wasn't ideal with a 4yr old. Kitchen had a grand total of two bowls. So I couldn't eat cereal or we shared 2 bowls between 3 of us. Mugs had cigarette butt stains inside. I had to re wash the plates and pans etc. I was put off using the mugs so purchased one from b&m and used the kids water bottles for their drinks. Blinds in main bedroom fell on my head. Whilst it did have curtains to fall back on to use, the bedroom is a converted living room or front room with houses directly opposite could see into. The location was ideal but the road felt unsafe, property's on that road were poorly kept. One point to note is the level of noise from upstairs. I can not explain how loud it was. I dont feel the family really knew how much we could hear them in our property. I could hear every conversation. I contacted booking.com with a complaint and have had zero response. Given I'd travelled 4hrs from Manchester with 2 kids I couldn't just leave the property and find somewhere else.

− 1. The light in the bathroom can be certainly brighter. 2. The toilet seat lid needs to be fixed. 3. The exhaust in the kitchen was extremely noisy. It was tolerable for the single night that we stayed but would be difficult for anyone staying longer
