Exceptional - we had three wonderful days here - highly recommended
10.0We stayed at Mababe River Lodge for three nights in June 2026. We camped for the first night and stayed in one of the room for the other two nights. It was wonderful! The campsites are excellent with perfectly clean private ablutions. The rooms are superb with a large private balcony with table and chairs, beautifully presented bedroom area with kettle/tea/coffee/drinking water/ and a spacious and spotlessly clean bathroom area. We had breakfast and dinner - both of which were excellent. The location is super - we saw hyenas from the deck and a hippo in the camp. This is an excellent place to stay for a few nights (or longer) - everything was first class - and what made the place really special was the staff. Every single staff member is friendly, helpful, and goes about their day with a smile. We really appreciated the lovely atmosphere created by all of the staff - each one really helped to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. One last thing to mention - we had a superb evening game drive with the wonderful and knowledgeable guide, Bright. We saw cheetahs, a lioness and a leopard - we were very happy! Planning to return - we will stay longer than three nights the next time. Thank you to all the staff.

− Loved the property but one has to be aware that the drive from the airport in MAUN to the property takes time and patience as the roads are not optimal.
