10.0It is so cosy, near enough to York to go through the day. We have stayed here twice now and already can’t wait to return! Always super clean, hot tub is lovely. Thank you again for a wonderful stay.

6.0Property was in a nice location. The property was very cute but had so much more potential. The hot tub was nice and the bed was extremely comfortable.
− Very overpriced for what you actually get. The hot tub was nice but the view wasn’t as good as it was made out to be- we spent all day looking into the field next to us which had a huge line of manure in- not the owners fault I understand. The properly inside wasn’t very clean, a few dead moths laying around and looked like it hadn’t been touched in a while. The radiators wouldn’t turn off (was broken) so when you put the boiler on for the hot water the hut got extremely hot. They had a smart tv in the property but no wifi, which didn’t bother us too much as we only stayed one night but maybe would have if we had stayed longer. There was only one toilet roll (which my partner actually ran out of during) and no spare. There was no hand soap so we had to use our own body wash/ fairy liquid that was in the kitchen. You’d think for paying £293 for a single night there would be the basics in there for you to use. Booking.com advertise that you can book in from 1200 which is one of the main reasons we booked this property to then get a message a couple of days before saying check in was at 1600 and we would have to pay £25 extra to book in at 1300, which seems ridiculous considering it was nearly £300 for one night.

− Don’t book through booking.com they allow you to book fully booked facilities which is what happened with us. We travelled all the way down just to find out out booking didn’t even exists
