Not up to standard! No Wifi, No View, Unclean with a bad smell

− The accommodation wasn't well maintained and not very clean, and there was a bad smell in the house. I specifically chose a place with Wi-Fi, which did not work the entire trip. The images showed a beautiful view, but when we were there, there were six cars stacked that ultimately left a view of a messy parking lot. The upstairs had dogs that were barking a lot and set off all the other dogs in the tight space. I was refunded one night of my booking. Lastly, we were charged a considerable cleaning fee at the end, but the accommodation was not cleaned. We were told that the cleaning would be done after we left, then were asked to clean the accommodation ourselves before we left despite being charged R800 for cleaning. For me is, the biggest issue that there is no Wifi, and nothing was done to rectify it over 4 days.

The view is great, but not the maintenance.

The view was nice. The agent did assist us with the complaint that we had.

− Very little clothing space and not really place to hang clothes. No bath in Sundew. A dishwasher would be really nice. When the pink palace had guests they parked in front of the balcony which was not really comfortable. The fence is broken so our dog came out a few times. The deck was not well maintained and fibre glass splinters were everywhere. My child was crying all night as we removed splinters. I only knew cause I walked with socks on the deck and started feeling splinters. When we arrived it looked like someone threw up next the house, maybe from the second floor. The open stairs to the second floor which belongs to the owners were daunting, especially with a child and dog that wants to go up it all the time. Maybe put in a door or a gate by the stairs. The owners did come once and when they armed the alarm it sounded through the unit, maybe move the alarm sound into the second floor space where it will not be so loud in the ground unit.

The location was great with a sea view. The apartment was clean and tidy and was well equipped including the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again
