A Truly Exceptional Location

When we arrived, we received a warm welcome from Michael and Tracey and the setting of this self contained accommodation is truly special. The trees, birds and surrounding vegetation, merely a few steps to the beach via a grassy path, is exceptional. We loved the location and position. We also enjoyed the open deck area and the kitchen provided the basics for our needs. Dining furniture was comfortable as was the outdoor furniture.

− The concrete pad provided for parking within the property is right angles to the steep driveway entrance and a challenge for a small car. Mostly, we parked our VW Go,f outside.We did experience some issues with our stay. Unfortunately the hot tub wasn’t working when we arrived for a 6 day stay. They made every effort to have it sorted before we left and we did get to use it twice which was great. We woke the first morning only to discover that a coffee mug which was used to hold water beside the bed, had leaked its entire contents, causing damage to personal items. The hosts were upset on our behalf and made every effort to fix things for us. There is no coffee machine available in the accommodation. This is compensated for, with daily visits from the hosts. We would have felt more comfortable with a coffee maker which we could use when it suited us. Early morning visits each day felt intrusive. This could be managed mor sensitively.

We enjoyed the location, proximity to quiet beach, facilities ( including the little touches eg chocolates etc and everyday items), expansive deck and spa. Tracey and Micheal were not intrusive and super hosts.

Beautiful, peaceful location with lovely birdsong, great views from the balcony and with access to a quiet beach. The property had everything we needed and was very clean. The hosts were very welcoming and keen to make our stay as comfortable as possible. A big thank you to Tracey and Michael for our very enjoyable stay.

All perfect: rural location, good appliances, perfect appartment, seating outside, garden, very nice landlord couple... best of all: the beach right outside the garden. The coolest experience ever to find an empty beach at right at your back door.

− No complaints whatsoever; The only negative point is that we didn't book a longer stay. This place ticks all the boxes.

We had a lovely time at Michael and Tracey's place! It is located in a quiet neighbourhood where the only sounds are the birds and the waves. It is an easy 2min stroll to the beach and has has everything you could need for a relaxing getaway. There's even a jacuzzi to use, which overlooks the bushland! Michael and Tracey are incredible hosts and made our experience so enjoyable. They are both so lovely and welcoming and did whatever they could to make us feel at home. Some snacks and drinks were provided on arrival and Michael even offered us coffee every morning. They provided recommendations for places to check out during our stay and were easy to communicate with. Though they live upstairs, it still felt very private. I can't recommend this place highly enough - we will definitely be back!
