Beautiful and quite oasis for relaxed holidays

The house is beautiful with a lot of space for relaxing, cooking and eating. The place is very cool due to its many windows. George was a great host. He helped us organise the transport to the island, a boot trip to the national park and asked someone from the village to cook diner and breakfast. Its a remote, quite and very special place worth the journey! Highly recommend coming here!

Het personeel en de ruimte van het huis .

− Het huis is mooi en gezellig op het eerste gezicht. Maar toen we er wat langer waren, viel het op hoe smerig het was! De wc’s stonken en toen ik er een doekje overheen deed. Kwam er echt zwart vuil vanaf ! Uit de douche kwam een miezerige koude vieze straal. De slaapkamers hadden gebruikt beddengoed. En de schemerlamp zat onder de stof. Overal lagen doden insecten. En je zag de kleur van de badkamer tegels niet meer omdat er een laag vuil op zat! Echt zonde van het mooie huis, en het lieve personeel! Er is geen ontbijt, je moet je eten op het vaste land kopen. En dan kan een kok het voor je klaarmaken . Maar je bent blij als je uit dat vieze huis bent !

A very quiet and beautiful place. The house is spacious and has everything you need. There's security. By the way, he's a very nice person. The owner is very communicative. All you need to do is buy groceries and come on over. There are no supermarkets on the island. The island has many picturesque spots, and you shouldn't consider this island just an addition to a visit to Kisite National Park. The island is beautiful both at high and low tide. There are some abandoned hotels on the island, which is sad. I think this is due to the pandemic and the outbreak of war in Europe. We saw a similar picture on Diani Beach. Very few tourists. I hope this will end soon, and people will stop killing each other and start actively traveling again and becoming interested in other cultures.

− We were there in February, which is the hottest month in Kenya. Maybe that's why the bedroom was so stuffy and hot.

Es un sitio perfecto para aquellos que buscan tranquilidad. El pueblo más tranquilo no puede ser. La casa tiene un diseño sorprendente con muchos cristales que le dan luminosidad. Está en medio de un jardín y es un buen lugar para explorar este último rincón de la isla. El personal y el dueño son muy amables. También te organizan para que puedas llegar en bote desde Shimoni. Todo está nuevo.
