Beautiful property with soul! You could feel a lot of effort was put into the decoration and kitchen. Close to the main street and walking distance from train station.

The house is in a brilliant location to walk into the town and to the sea and is close to main roads so that you can go exploring other places. We really appreciated how clean and welcoming the house was and how light, bright, comfortable and cosy the house is. The kitchen is well kitted out with most of the items you would expect to have to make your stay easy, like dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, tea and coffee etc. The back garden so well thought out so that you don't worry about bringing in dirt as it is all paved and so nicely done it feels inviting and lots of seating with cushions in a basket by the door for comfort, and lighting so that you can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. The bathrooms were well stocked with loo rolls, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner and lots of lovely towels. There were even spare pillows provided.

− We didn't find any cooking oil, salt or pepper which is something that I have found to be provided in the properties I have rented in the past. The en-suite bathroom has a bath and showerhead/hose arrangement, but no shower screen or holder on the wall so you have to hold the shower head and be exceptionally careful not to spray the bathroom. The mattresses weren't not very comfortable and didn't have the best nights sleep. I found sleeping with the duvet under me made it slightly better. Parking is a complete nightmare so be prepared to spend a fair amount of money on parking. These issues were by no means a disaster and we had a lovely time, but these things being addressed, I feel would elevate the whole experience to exceptional from very good. Obviously parking is not something that can be fixed but it should be noted that it using the car park will most likely be necessary.

A beautiful property in the heart of the town, a perfect base for the weekend. Modern, well equipped and very clean.

− Perhaps the bath in the upstairs on suite could benefit from a shower screen and shower attachment, however this did not negatively impact our stay.
