Shame about the damp and mould
5.0The location is great. Aircon in all rooms. Lots of board games and books. Swimming pool. Only major downside was the damp and mould. Very bad in one of the rooms so much so that my children ended up sleeping in the front room because of the damp smell
− Sadly the villa has very bad rising damp. Even some of the wardrobes had mould. We did complain about it and they said someone will come round and paint it which they did but on the last day of our holiday. Our children ended up sleeping in the front room because of the damp smell The fridge also wasn’t working, it wasn’t getting cold. This took 4 days to fix. Also didn’t realise there is 2 flats above which looks down into the pool area so not as private as we thought.
A fantastic 9 days at villa Rio. Would definitely book this villa again. Kalkan is a beautiful secret

9.0Beautiful villa with lots of outdoor seating and space. Also in a great location by all the shops and restaurants and not a far walk from the beach
− Needs to be sign posted or have directions to find the villa as we had a lot of trouble finding the place. The drainage in the downstairs bathroom could be better

− Good idea would be to have a book of information. Where to empty bins is there recycling. Where’s the local pharmacy is. Good taxis numbers etc.

9.0The villa is very beautiful and well-located. It’s about a 7–10 minute walk to the beach. There’s also a grocery store just a minute away on foot.
− The drainage in the bathroom on the ground floor was very poor, which caused some inconvenience. Also, a person would come to clean the outdoor area without any prior notice. It would be nice to be informed about this in advance.
