Beautiful cottage and beautiful location

8.0

The location was perfect, we loved the waterfall in the parking area. We also loved all of the personal touches, like the gift bag and milk so we could have tea and biscuits as soon as we arrived. There were also walking sticks and torches and other useful items, as well as loads of walking books and suggestions. On our first night my husband left his hat at the pub and a kind soul left it hanging on the front door handle whilst we were out - what a lovely community.

The kitchen was a little cosy for two people and there was an issue with the shower leaking, but luckily we were able to use the bath. However Pauline was very communicative and we were confident she would get the problem sorted.

Fantastic, perfect family getaway location

10.0

Fab little village setting, cosy and quirky cottage, kitchen had everything you could possibly need and traditional dalesman fire was a great way to warm up, although heating was available and very toasty! Easily fitted our family of five plus dog and there are great walks on door step. Sheep and new born lambs all around and friendly locals, pub/ coffee house across the road was great to visit after a day of exploring. Pauline was really informative and friendly and offered loads of great advice prior to our visit and would highly recommend to others

Wonderful cottage in a beautiful setting. House had everything you could ever need for a stay and they even included complementary coffee, tea and milk when we arrived. Host was easy to contact and helpful. Very comfortable, peaceful place to stay.
