− Very hot!! Uncomfortable sleeping nights. Communication was faulty. More expensive than other places around. Check-in process very confusing.

The location is great, very central and close to Victoria Station. The flat overall was clean.

− However, the pictures are clearly visualizations – not realistic. Management claimed otherwise, but it’s obvious when you see the place. The apartment was in general much darker, older, and more worn than shown online. There was mould in the bathroom. Management responded quickly at first, but later ignored me and then did not react profesionally in my opinion. In the end, the experience did not live up to expectations.

Location was brilliant and the communication from the hosts was fantastic. They were very quick to respond to questions and said they would send someone to investigate a beeping that was going off.

− The lounge photos were very different from the house now. The photo doesn't include the sofa bed in the living room, and the TV on the wall isnt in the picture, (which our kids were pleased to discover) for example. The garden was quite overgrown and had lots of cigarette butt's on the floor by the back door, so I wouldn't have let my young kids go out there. There was also an annoying beep that went off every minute. May have been from the smoke alarm but gave up trying to confirm the source. I should say that the staff were very apologetic and said they would send someone round the next morning to investigate.

Location. The location is great. Victoria Station (main bus station, main train station AND underground) are all within five minutes walk. Neighbourhood shops and restaurants just around the corner and main street shopping at Victoria.

− The location is great. Victoria Station (main bus station, main train station AND underground) is within five minutes walk and shops and restaurants are both just around the corner and more big names close to Victoria. We had a few small issues but the management was responsive and did well in quickly addressing them. The living room has a frosted glass window at front and so there is no view at the front, and the rear is an unkempt yard. There is a sofa and dining table at this level and what the photos and description don’t tell you, is the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms are at different levels, with the lower bathroom even lower. The carpet should really be cleaned and some more thought given to the decor - somewhat bleak at present. In total there are two bathrooms and two bedrooms, one each up and one of each downstairs. The lower shower worked well but the shower walls need attention - the grout is failing and has some staining. There is a sauna here (lower level) and one of the door hinges was broken off. We didn’t use it so don’t know how well it works. Upstairs on second level is another bedroom and nice bathroom. There are lots of stairs in this house and this should be included in the property description. There were a few too many long dark hairs around the house, so perhaps cleaner should wear a hair net. The kitchen is large and was quite well equipped and includes a Nespresso pod type coffee maker - but Euro plug and no adapter. One was delivered by host but it was dead on arrival. Our own converter plug worked fine. The second (lower) bedroom, is very tight with no bedside table and one of us has to crawl over the other to get out at night. There’s no reading lamp, the only lights being overhead with the light switch 7 feet away at the door. No mirror in this room and with no sockets in the bathroom, very difficult for grooming. Curtains were not blackout; bed was a double and the bedspring on right side was broken.
