Really disappointed about the cleanliness of the property

Great location and size of property.

− The property wasn't to a good standard of cleanliness. We choose this property for the size of kitchen, dining table and outdoor seating however we could not cook or eat in the property. The oven was extremely greasy, worktops were dirty and dinning table was all stained and sticky. We had to leave the property a day earlier as the dust was making my mum's asthma bad and I am also 6 months pregnant so could not clean the house when we arrived to make it comfortable for us to enjoy our stay. We choose a house with enclosed garden so we could use the facilities, we took our dog who does not settle well when eating out however we had no choice to eat out for the weekend and we wasted so much food that we took but could not cook. Overall I would not recommend this property which is a shame because if it was clean it would be perfect due to the size of rooms etc.

It’s a beautiful cottage and it’s beautifully decorated and designed , very spacious really comfortable beds and very luxurious. Lovely touches like having milk and cake and biscuits which is fantastic to arrive too we feel very spoilt , it’s Amazing it was our 3rd visit . Very calm feel to the property and easy to relax . Thank you xx

I love old smithy cottage , it’s stunning , beautiful very luxurious and relaxing. We love coming here we’re always greeted with items left which are lovely treats to have especially a lovely bottle of prosecco for a thank you for returning it’s the little things that mean a lot .we feel spoiled and the house is so beautifully done it’s just perfection. I still walking in on our 3rd time and say “oh I do love this “ which I usually say for a good half an hr . It is nice to come and the owners make it such an amazing experience in the cottage . Thank you we will be back again.xxx

Lovely cottage in a beautiful villiage not far from the centre of Poulton-le-Flybe or Blackpool. The cottage had everything we need and felt like a home away from home. Thanks again for letting us stay
